Growing too fast!!!!

Andrew is 6 months old today!!!! We can hardly believe it....it just seems like yesterday I held in my arms for the first time. I look at his newborn pictures and he seems like a completely different person.
Andrew is making new strides by the dozen lately. Last week he rolled over from his back to his tummy for the first time!!! He still doesn't seem impressed with the idea of rolling over....it takes some convince to get him to do it. As you can see Andrew is now sitting up. He has to use his arms to support his body, but he is quickly getting strong enough to hold that body up!! Fortunately 'Nana' was here to see these two firsts....I think she got a kick out of it.
Sleeping is going really well...these days he sleeps about 6-8 hours before eating. THANK THE LORD!!!!! Brian's only concern is for several days now, one of Andrew's eyes has been red and irritated looking. Not the whole thing, mainly the white of the eye nearest his nose. He has been scratching at it more lately, but has not been fussy or with fever. Brian insisted I call the Pediatrician. The nurse didn't sound concerned....thought he may have scratched it or could be allergies. She offered to call drops in for "pink eye", but I declined...really don't think it's that....well at least Brian feels better!!!! We'll keep an eye on it...he sees the doc next week for his 6 month shots anyways....I'll have her take a look at then if it hasn't cleared up.
That is all for now...sorry it's been so long without a post...no excuses...just got lazy I guess!!!

He is risen, indeed!!!

The easter bunny happend to come to the house yesterday!!! Unfortunately Andrew couldn't eat the peeps or the chocolate bunny, but Mom and Dad were gracious enough to take care of that!! We were all able to attend Easter services Sunday as a family, which was the first time we were able to do so since I started my weekend shift. It was very special. Andrew got a kick out all the Easter Lillies and pretty colors that decorated the sanctuary. Andrew has become more interested in church, and watching pastor perform his rituals like communion and etc. The congregation enjoys his singing along from time to time as well.
Andrew is making new advances. He for sure is teething, and has been a bit more fussy as of late. We look forward to seeing that first tooth in a number of weeks. In addition we have found him reaching for objects with greater enthusiasm....to include his toes and toys!!!
